Google Docs issue?

I've been noticing that sometimes the app isn't working in Google Docs.

The microphone icon will load, it'll look like it's capturing my dictation, but it won't paste anything.

but if I move to a different application, like a notes app or the browser URL, it works again.

It's an intermittent problem because sometimes it'll start working again, and then stop.

    Thanks for reporting this.

    I haven’t been able to reliably reproduce it yet, but it’s likely a focus issue. Sometimes apps can sometimes look active without actually being “focused” in a way that allows pasting, which would explain the intermittent behavior.

    There’s a change coming in the next update. If a paste fails due to focus, a small window will show the transcript so you can copy it right away instead having to repeat yourself.
